~ The Sagasu Review ~
「あとは頼みます」
about:
here at The Sagasu Review we have one simple mission:
review and discover music coming from japan.
there seems to be a rather spacious hole in the english-written asian music/media reviews space online. with there being little to none in the way of covering media from a very popular (and gaining) corner of the world, that primarily being japan. because of this we aim to foster the first evergreen website to host reviews and critical thought-pieces on japanese music and other medias from the country. through this, we hope readers will find a way to discover new music and better engage with the culture around this medium.
all that to say, we want to review cool shit and get it to you. there arent really any websites doing this in the english-speaking world today, so thats gonna be our job. so you have a dedicated place to visit when you want to know more about a new album or song youve been interested in. a place to better engage with your fandom. a place to find something new.
here are The Sagasu Review we have one goal, and we are gonna have fun doing it.
join us for reviews: where we open up and explore an album or song and stamp a rating to it that aligns with our opinion of the piece.
scores range: 1 (lowest) - 10 (highest)
join us for spotlights: a place to give deeper focus on what has us particularly excited at the time.
join us for editorials: essays and other focused write-ups that help better engage readers with the medium.
we thank you for your time and your readership,
most sincerely,
The Sagasu Review Team
